DAHC, AXDEV Global, Pfizer Global Medical Grants partner for chronically ill patients’ enhanced care
دبي في 22 مارس/ وام / أعلنت مؤسسة دبي الصحية الأكاديمية و”AXDEVجلوبال” و”فايزر جلوبال” عن عقد شراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص تهدف إلى تعزيز الرعاية الصحية المتعلقة بمرضى تم تشخيص إصاباتهم بأمراض مزمنة بدعم من منحة مستقلة تقدمها “فايزر جلوبال للمنح الطبية”. وتهدف هذه الشراكة إلى ابتكار نموذج قائم على الأدلة العلمية لتعزيز وتطوير جودة وكفاءة الإمكانات المتوفرة لرعاية المرضى المصابين بأمراض مزمنة على المستويات الفردية والجماعية والأنظمة الصحية وذلك باستخدام أفضل الممارسات. وتم اختيار مدينة دبي كقاعدة اختبار لتخطيط وتنفيذ هذا النموذج باعتبارها المدينة المثالية لإجراء هذا البحث نظراً لتنوع سكانها الثقافي والدعم الذي يقدمه نظامها الصحي الأكاديمي المتمثل في مؤسسة دبي الصحية الأكاديمية حيث سيتم بعد ذلك توسيع نطاق النتائج من أجل تعزيز رعاية مرضى الأمراض المزمنة في البلدان المنخفضة والمتوسطة الدخل في آسيا والمحيط الهادئ والشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا. وستجري مؤسسة دبي الصحية الأكاديمية هذا البرنامج في جامعتها الطبية “جامعة محمد بن راشد للطب والعلوم الصحية”.. في حين سوف توفر “AXDEV” خبرتها في تنفيذ الأبحاث المتخصصة وإدارة المشاريع في كل خطوة من خطوات البرنامج. وستدعم “فايزر” جميع الأنشطة من خلال منحة مستقلة تقدمها بما في ذلك عمليات البحث والتطوير وتنفيذ أنشطة التعليم الطبي والأدوات وتنفيذ البحوث العلمية عبر العديد من المراكز في دبي. وتم اعتماد مرض السكري كمثال بحث نموذجي من أجل تطبيق وقياس تأثير التدخلات في عدة مراكز صحية محلية في دبي .. فيما سيتم بعد ذلك توسيع نطاق الأدلة والنتائج التي تم جمعها في دبي لتشمل البلدان المنخفضة والمتوسطة الدخل لإعادة تنظيم رعاية مرضى الأمراض المزمنة وتوفير الأدوات الضرورية والتعليم للأطباء والأخصائيين الصحيين المساعدين والموظفين ومديري الرعاية الصحية. ويعتبر مرض السكري اليوم مرضاً مزمناً يصيب واحداً من بين كل خمسة بالغين في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وهو أحد الأسباب الرئيسية للفشل الكلوي على مستوى العالم. وقالت الدكتورة حنان السويدي المديرة التنفيذية للشؤون الإدارية في مؤسسة دبي الصحية الأكاديمية ” شهد قطاع الرعاية الصحية تغيرات كبيرة منذ انتشار جائحة كوفيد-19. ومن هذا المنطلق فإن أنظمة الرعاية الصحية ذات المستوى العالمي تتحول الآن إلى شراكات فعالة لإعادة تصور نماذج الأعمال والوصول إلى إمكانات جديدة..وبالتالي فإن الشراكات بين القطاعين العام والخاص مثل هذا التعاون بين مؤسسة دبي الصحية الأكاديمية و”AXDEV “و”فايزر” تعمل على الاستفادة من إمكانيات جميع أعضائها لتسريع تبني أفضل الممارسات في رعاية المرضى”. وذكرت سوزان موراي المؤسسة والرئيسة التنفيذية لـ”AXDEV Group ” أن هذا التعاون بين القطاعين العام والخاص الذي يوفر حلولاً تعليمية متطورة لأخصائيي الرعاية الصحية ولفرق عملهم سيؤثر بشكل مباشر على الممارسة السريرية وهو شهادة على أن ثلاث منظمات رئيسية بالإضافة إلى المراكز الصحية المعنية ملتزمون بتحسين النتائج الصحية للمرضى من خلال التعليم القائم على الأدلة والجودة وإجراء البحوث التطبيقية. وقال ياسر الدرشابي الرئيس الطبي الإقليمي لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وروسيا وأفريقا لدى “فايزر”.. إن سهولة الوصول للرعاية الصحية للمرضى الذين يعانون من أمراض مزمنة تشكل أمراً بالغ الأهمية نظراً لأنهم مرتبطون بنظام الرعاية الصحية ..ولطالما كان هدف “فايزر” لا سيما في البلدان المنخفضة والمتوسطة الدخل هو تعزيز المساواة الصحية في المجتمعات المحرومة من الخدمات.
The Dubai Academic Health Corporation (DAHC), AXDEV Global, and Pfizer Global announced a public-private partnership to enhance care for patients diagnosed with chronic illnesses, supported by an independent grant from Pfizer Global Medical Grants.
The goal of the collaboration is to establish an evidence-based model in performance and quality improvement to support the adoption of best practices and boost capacity development for patient care with chronic illnesses at the individual, team, practice, and health systems levels.
Dubai will serve as a test-bed to plan and implement the model, identified as the ideal city for the research given its diverse cultural population and unwavering support of its academic health system from the Dubai Academic Health Corporation.
The findings will then be scaled to enhance chronic illness care in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and North Africa.
The Dubai Academic Health Corporation will host the initiative at its medical university, Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), and AXDEV will provide expert implementation research and project management across every step of the programme.
All activities are supported by Pfizer’s independent grant including the research, development, and execution of medical education activities, toolkits and implementation science across multiple health centres in Dubai.
Through a research project out of MBRU, the research will take diabetes as a case example to apply and measure the impact of the interventions in four local health centres in Dubai. Today, diabetes is a chronic illness that affects almost one in every five adults in the UAE and is one of the leading causes of kidney failure globally.
The evidence and results gathered in Dubai will then be scaled to LMICs to reorganise chronic illness care and provide critical tools and education for clinicians, allied health professionals, staff and healthcare administrators.
Commenting on the importance of public-private partnerships, Dr. Hanan Alsuwaidi, Chief Business Officer of the Dubai Academic Health Corporation, said, “The healthcare industry has experienced significant changes since the pandemic.
