UAE President receives Georgian PM
أبوظبي في 31 أكتوبر/ وام/ استقبل صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة “حفظه الله” اليوم معالي إيراكلي غاريبا شفيلي رئيس وزراء جمهورية جورجيا الصديقة الذي يقوم بزيارة عمل إلى الدولة. ورحب سموه ــ خلال اللقاء الذي جرى في قصر الشاطئ ـ بمعالي رئيس الوزراء الضيف .. الذي نقل بدوره إلى سموه تحيات فخامة سالومي زورا باشيفيلي رئيسة جورجيا وتمنياتها لدولة الإمارات استمرار التطور والرخاء .. فيما حمل سموه معاليه نقل تحياته إلى فخامة الرئيسة وتمنياته لبلدها وشعبها الصديق دوام الاستقرار والازدهار. وبحث سموه ورئيس وزراء جورجيا علاقات الصداقة ومختلف جوانب التعاون بين البلدين وفرص تطويرها في المجالات الاستثمارية والتجارية والاقتصادية والزراعية وغيرها من الجوانب الحيوية التي تحظى باهتمام متبادل ضمن خطط البلدين وتوجهاتهما التنموية. كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر بشأن عدد من القضايا والموضوعات محل الاهتمام المشترك. وقال صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان .. إن دولة الإمارات حريصة على بناء علاقات تعاون وشراكات مثمرة مع الدول الصديقة خاصة في المجالات التي تتوفر فيها الفرص والإمكانيات التي تخدم الأهداف التنموية المشتركة. وأعرب الجانبان عن تطلعهما إلى أن تشهد الفترة المقبلة مزيداً من النمو لعلاقات التعاون الإماراتية – الجورجية في ظل توافر العديد من المقومات التي يحظى بها البلدان ترفع سقف الطموحات للمضي قدما بعلاقاتهما إلى شراكة اقتصادية شاملة والتي أطلق البلدان الجولة الأولى من محادثاتها خلال سبتمبر الماضي. حضر اللقاء.. سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير ديوان الرئاسة وسمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان ومعالي الشيخ محمد بن حمد بن طحنون آل نهيان مستشار الشؤون الخاصة في ديوان الرئاسة ومعالي الدكتور أنور بن محمد قرقاش المستشار الدبلوماسي لصاحب السمو رئيس الدولة . – مل –
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received at Qasr Al Shati Palace here, Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, currently on a working visit to the UAE.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Prime Minister Garibashvili, and conveyed his greetings to Salome Zourabichvili, President of Georgia, wishing her good health and further progress and prosperity to Georgia and its people. Garibashvili conveyed the greeting of the Georgian President and her wishes of continued progress and prosperity to the UAE and its people.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the friendship ties and various aspects of cooperation between their countries and the prospects for advancing bilateral relations in economic, investment, trade and agriculture domains.
The latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest featured high in the meeting.
President Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the UAE’s keenness to build fruitful cooperation and partnerships with friendly countries to serve their common development goals.
The two sides expressed their aspiration to further advance the UAE-Georgian ties towards a comprehensive economic partnership, whose first round of talks was launched by the two countries last September.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Dr Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President.
