Mansoor bin Mohammed visits Dubai Active Industry Exhibition
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council (DSC), today visited the sixth edition of the Dubai Active Industry Exhibition, which is co-located with Dubai Muscle Show and Dubai Active.
Held in collaboration with DSC, the events run from 28-30 October at Zabeel Halls in the Dubai World Trade Centre, spanning an exhibition space of more than 26,000 square metres.
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor, accompanied by Saeed Hareb, Secretary-General of DSC, and Nasser Aman Al Rahma, Assistant Secretary-General of DSC, toured the exhibition and visited pavilions of several international companies displaying their latest innovations and leading wellness products in sportswear and training, bodybuilding, nutrition, and fitness equipment.
Sheikh Mansoor commended DSC for its efforts to support events that raise Dubai’s profile as a business and activity hub for sports, wellness and fitness.
He noted that the industry event offers a dedicated platform for networking and business development, adding that such events cater to the growing demand from the fitness, wellness and sports community while increasing the contribution of the wellness sector to the economy and enhancing job opportunities.
Nick Blair and Craig Hartley, Directors of HBG Events, organisers of the events, briefed Sheikh Mansoor and the accompanying delegation on the sixth edition of the region’s leading fitness and wellness trade show.
HBG Events’ Directors also provided an overview of the co-located events, including the Dubai Muscle Show, which features some of the world’s most entertaining sports competitions.
The current edition of the Dubai Active Industry Exhibition features over 300 exhibiting brands, showcasing the latest innovations and leading products in wellness. The exhibition, which features 3,000 participants from 30 countries, is expected to welcome more than 30,000 visitors over three days.
