Dubai Health Authority holds workshop to discuss future of healthcare
دبي في 25 أكتوبر/ وام / عززت هيئة الصحة بدبي توجهاتها المستقبلية وتحولاتها الرقمية بجلسة عصف ذهني نظمتها بحضور سعادة عوض صغير الكتبي المدير العام لهيئة الصحة بدبي وكبار المسؤولين والمختصين في الهيئة. وارتكزت مناقشات الجلسة المكثفة على أربعة محاور رئيسية تضمنت الصحة العامة وصحة السكان وجودة البيانات والابتكار التنظيمي وهي المحاور التي حددتها الهيئة ضمن استراتيجية طموحة أعدتها لإحداث الطفرة النوعية المطلوبة في القطاع الصحي بما يخدم توجهات الدولة ويعزز تطلعات مدينة دبي. وأكد عوض الكتبي أن لمدينة دبي استحقاقاتها العالمية على الساحة الصحية وأن هذه الاستحقاقات تستلزم مواصلة العمل وبذل المزيد من الجهد بعيداً عن أية أساليب نمطية أو أطر مألوفة. وأشار إلى المنافسة الشديدة بين مختلف مدن العالم حول المستقبل وما يحمله المستقبل من تداعيات ومستجدات تقتضي بدورها العمل بوتيرة سريعة والاستمرار في تطوير السياسات والنظم التي تكفل وجود نموذج صحي من الطراز الأول عالمياً في دبي. وقال ” لسنا بمعزل عن الساحة الصحية الدولية التي نتطلع أن يكون لنا فيها دوراً مؤثراً ولاسيما مع ما نمتلكه من إمكانيات وقدرات هائلة ومع توفر بنية تقنية وأنظمة ذكية فائقة المستوى”. وأضاف أن العصف الذهني يعد جزءاً مهماً من مبادئ العمل في الهيئة وهو يمثل فرصة لإنتاج الأفكار المبتكرة وتحديد السبل التي من شأنها اختصار مراحل الوصول إلى استدامة الصحة والرفاه الصحي وغير ذلك من الأهداف الاستراتيجية التي تعمل عليها “صحة دبي”. وتم خلال الجلسة تقسيم المسؤولين والمختصين إلى أربع فرق متخصصة موزعة على كل محور من المحاور الأربعة التي تضمنت الصحة العامة وصحة السكان وجودة البيانات والابتكار التنظيمي حيث جرت المناقشات والحوارات حول أفضل السبل لتعزيز التحولات الرقمية المتواصلة التي تشهدها الهيئة نحو الغد. وأوضح الدكتور محمد الرضا مدير إدارة المعلوماتية والصحة الذكية في هيئة الصحة بدبي أن الحضور اتفقوا جميعاً على أهمية الوقوف على كل مقتضيات المستقبل ومتطلباته وضرورة خلق الفرص لتحقيق الاستثمار الأمثل في الموارد والإمكانيات والخبرات التي تزخر بها الهيئة. وقال إن “صحة دبي” نفذت مجموعة من المشروعات الطموحة وأنجزت حزمة من الأنظمة الحديثة المعززة لتحولاتها الرقمية ومنها: نظام نابض وحصانة وشريان وغيرها وهو ما يمثل دعماً مهماً لتوجهاتها المستقبلية.
The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) recently held a workshop to discuss the future of healthcare delivery and the pivotal role of digital health and technology across the continuum of care.
In his opening address, Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director-General of DHA, said, “Ensuring we create a complete digital health ecosystem across all healthcare sectors, from regulation to patient care, is in line with the vision of the Emirate and aligns with our strategic priority. Implementation and utilisation of digital health has several benefits across the full spectrum of the health sector from clinicians to policy-makers. The primary focus must be on utilization of digital health to ensure patients receive the highest-quality of personalized care.”
Al Ketbi then highlighted that digital health must be designed to foster patient empowerment and patient-centricity.
Al Ketbi also discussed the importance of digital health in DHA’s overall strategic plan and the roadmap ahead to ensure the Emirate further strengthens its drive towards digitization in the health sector.
Dr. Mohammed Al Redha, Director of Health Informatics and Smart Health at DHA, added, “The aim of this initiative is to better understand how we can focus on digital health when we plan future initiatives and strategies for the health sector. We already have key digital projects at the DHA and this initiative will provide a further impetus on how we plan, design and implement our digital health initiatives to benefit all stakeholders in the health sector particularly patients.”
Al Redha said that DHA is in the process of creating a single-digital file for every person in the Emirate as part of its ongoing Nabidh initiative. This means that every individual in the Emirate will have a single digital health file, eliminating the need to carry medical reports from one provider to another, ensuring doctors receive the patients’ complete medical history, allergy notifications and reports in one single digital file.
At the end of the workshop, DHA discussed ways to foster the Emirate’s digital health transformation drive.
