Uzbekistan to host 2nd World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education

The Second World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education, to be held in Tashkent on 14th-16th November, aims to promote and strengthen the rights of all children to quality care and education at an early age by reaffirming countries’ commitment to Sustainable Development Goal No. 4.2 and investing in it, UzA reported.

According to the Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA), UNESCO regional and local bureau and member states are expected to actively participate in regional consultations in the coming months.

The result of these events will become regional final documents that will be used in the development of the Tashkent Declaration.

UNESCO and the Government of Uzbekistan invite member states, associate members and key partners to participate in the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education.
